Happy New Year - 2014

Peace be upon all/Greetings...

       Less than 30 minutes from now, it would be bye-bye 2013 and hello 2014.... Praise Allah...2013 was a good year and we're praying for an even more successful year ahead.
       The Pre Unit  would like to wish Asarians and Asarians-to-be (Form 1 students will be reporting tomorrow) a happy new year. Thumbs up to ASAR administrative board. Programmes from day 1 2014 up to 31 December 2014 have  already being planned well. 1 January 2014 would mark another successful beginning for 2014.
       The latest mega-scale project As Syura ASAR 2014,a project to boost the school achievement (holistically) and a great leap of the school band from Band 5 to Band 3, insyaAllah. The administrative board is very optimistic.  The first step has been taken by all senior assistants by consulting the Head of IAB (Institut Aminuddin Baki) at Santubong, Kuching on 16 December 2013. Dr Shahri, himself, seemed excited with the idea. That would be a brief picture of As Syura ASAR project and with a strong team, success would be at the end of the road. Insya Allah.(Pssst.....Work hard in silence, let success make the noise)

The Cream of ASAR Pre U Unit

 

Assalamualaikum/Greetings dearest Pre U ASAR blog followers.

   

Recently, SMK ASAR held the "Hari Permuafatan" on Saturday, 6th July 2013) The event where the parents were invited to school to discuss academic achievements of the students.  Praise Allah, the hall was flocked with concerned parents.  Our PK1 started the parents-form teachers meeting with a sharing session on "Sarana PIBG". PMR, SPM and STPM candidates who have been targeted to be the high flyers for the final public exam were then introduced to the audience. The consultation session with the form teachers was held right after a short break. Alhamdulillah, everything went as planned and was following the schedule. (Mabruk Madam Faridah, a job well done!) We pray that these selected 'pearls' will complete their "mission" with flying colours and make ASAR proud. InsyaAllah.

Term 1 and Term 2 2013

Assalamualaikum/Greetings once again. Praise Allah for another chance to upload  another entry for the Pre U ASAR blog.  As always, life at ASAR is super-packed (can use this term I guess...)

On 8th May, 21 Term 1 Pre U students a..k.a.Lower sixth formers registered officially as ASAR Pre U students. Ahlan wa sahlan and congratulations. A simple Orientation Programme was carried out from 13 to 17 May. Activities included briefings, games, social services and others. Below are the photos to document the events.

At the same time, their seniors sat for the Term 2 STPM exam from 20th to 22nd May 2013. The exam was conducted at the APD room to allow privacy and silence for the candidates.  InsyaAllah, success be with you.

SMK Agama Igan Benchmark Visit To ASAR

Peace be upon all/Greetings. Dearest Pre U ASAR blog followers... Do accept my apologies as the following entry for today's post may sound a bit formal.  Not in creative mode at the moment....A bit 'dizzy' after entertaining ex-fifth formers who requested for assistance in filling in the online forms to join Form 6. Below is the short report for today's post title.

 

Date:     29th March 2013

Time:    3.30 p.m.

Event: SMKA Igan Pre U Administrative Team Benchmark Visit

 

      SMKA Igan Pre U Administrative team made a bench mark visit to ASAR. The team leader was Ustazah Noriah, the school principal and she was accompanied by 4 others, the PK1, PKT6, and 2 SMKA Igan Pre U teachers. Ustaz Kanil, together with PK KK And PKHEM welcomed them at the school office and escorted the quests to Raudah al-ilmi, where the ASAR Pre U teachers stationed.      

      After signing the guest book, there were short speeches by Ustazah Noriah and Ustaz Kanil (Ustazah Seraya had to leave early for Sibu).  Next was the sharing session regarding the administration of  ASAR Pre U by ASAR PKT6, Madam Nelley.  The guests were also entertained with a short movie potraying the activities conducted or participated by ASAR Pre U students. Compliments to Iffa of Pre U Cemerlang for preparing the movie. 

      Later the guests were served tea and coffee with very delicious fusion cuisines  nyum...nyum...chocolate cup cakes, dragon fruit pudding, traditional 'kueh takir', red bean cakes and Laksa Sarawak.  The team made a move back to their hotel at 5.45pm.

Uniformed Bodies Annual Camping Event 2013

Assalamualaikum/Greetings dearest loyal readers....

 

 Praise be to Allah.... Once again the annual uniformed bodies camping event was able to be carried out and it went smoothly. It was carefully planned by the senior assistant for co-curricular activities, Mr Hipeni and his team.  The event started on Thursday evening (18 April) and ended on Saturday noon.

 

Once again, the Pre U students were given the responsibility as facilitators to aid teachers in ensuring the smooth flow of all activities. Various exciting activities were held and to name a few.... there were jungle trekking, treasure hunt, and the 'must' activity, the marching  with formation competition. 

 

Not only being facilitators, the pre students were also given the 'green light' by the Principal, Ustazah Seraya, to put up a stall, with the objective of finding fund for Pre U activities.  The project was headed by Madam Amira and all the Pre U teachers were also involved. Alhamdulillah ASARIANS, teachers and students were very supportive. Our gratitude to all. Syukran.

Redeeming BB1M Trip to Sibu 2013

Peace be upon all/Greetings.
Praise Allah. We meet again with yet another report of the colourful life of Pre U ASAR.

      23 Pre U ASAR students and 6  teachers went on the above mentioned trip on Tuesday,19th March 2013. (Madam Naimah was unable to follow the trip as she had to attend an audit course at Sarikei.)  We left for Sibu after the school assembly at about 8:00a.m sharp.
      A few bookstores were visited including Popular at Delta Mall, Academic Bookstore, Rejang Bookstore and Public Bookstore at Wisma Sanyan. Lunch was at SCR...(except Fitrah-KFC he...he...) The trip was successful as majority managed to redeem all vouchers (except a few....Amal for example).  Mr Hambli drove the bus alone, as Mr Sitora had some family matters to attend to. Anyway, the weather was fine and the trip was indeed a very enjoyable one.
